When she finds Nemo and Marvin, and they're all shown back in their home neighborhood playing hide and seek, the mom and dad just swim away. Just seconds after being "reunited" with her mom and dad, she says she's got a new family, and she realizes that she must find them.Ħ. When she sees them, she actually sees just two shadows - implying that the following scenes are just a result of her imagination, as she's in denial.ĥ. The scene where Dory finds her parents' new home and all the sea shells on the sea bottom is really dark, as opposed to the scene where they show her old home.Ĥ. The rest of the fish in the tank tell her that it's been years since they've last seen her parents, thus implying that they're dead.ģ. ![]() Hank (the octopus) tells Dory that is you can't remember something, then you don't have a problem with it (or sth like that).Ģ.
